The predicted salary is between 11 - 16 £ per hour.
Purpose of the post: To work within a team in a busy environment. Processing orders, receiving new stock. Adhering to time scales to meet next day delivery expectations.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Work with Team Leaders and Warehouse Management to coordinate the volume of goods in, in line with high priority customer deliveries business priorities.
- Ensure incoming stock is recorded accurately and aligns with supplier invoices, delivery notes, purchase orders and any other internal stock management systems / databases.
- Raise discrepancies proactively and in a timely manner to the warehouse management staff to ensure a timely resolution.
- Oversee and take part in bulk picking operations on a weekly basis.
- Support stock take and stock check processes regularly.
- Dispatch all customer orders in line with departmental KPIs.
- Maintain the warehouse working environment so it remains tidy.
- Adhere and abide by all relevant manual handling and H&S procedures when processing stock.
