We are currently recruiting for an Ecommerce Specialist to join our Ecommerce team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Purpose of the Role: This role will involve coordinating our e-commerce and production teams in the day-to-day operation of all our websites. It will be a varied role that requires strong organisational skills and workload management in order to perform daily activities, as well as an ability to react positively to short-notice requests. Being involved in multiple projects will provide a challenging and often fast-paced working environment where communication is key. The successful candidate needs to have previous e-commerce experience, in addition to having a proactive and positive attitude. An interest in online fashion retail will be highly beneficial, while an eagerness to learn and to contribute to the performance of our team will be essential.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Responsible for reviewing product information and liaising with customer services/ecom operations for immediate/tactical improvements to help reduce returns.
- Coordinate product launches and peak trade actions with the marketing team and other departments.
- Ensure alignment with internal teams and suppliers to ensure timely development and launch of all projects/campaigns.
- Assist in product and category production - responsible for uploading and maintaining product descriptions, prices, imagery, video, and quality checking in-line with internal deadlines.
- Review and QC retouched images as they come back, to ensure products are set to live within deadline.
- Liaising with our partners to conduct stock checks, stock fragmentations and intake, working to maximise sales opportunities.
- Support of onsite visual merchandising, actively working to improve conversion and sell through.
- Conduct weekly site walk-throughs, across stores and devices.
- Key member of the team for site refreshes, going in and out of Sale periods, Seasonal launches etc.
- Work with the wider team to improve SEO on key landing pages.
- Assist in onsite trading opportunities and identify/champion/drive areas that will improve conversion and basket value.
- Assist in driving onsite recommendations and personalisation.
- Assist in web analytics and online marketing data dives that keep the Ecommerce business moving forward, identifying new opportunities both globally and in local markets.
- Assist in improving UX and sales through the onsite search channel.
