The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 Β£ per year.

Location: Newark

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Salary: Β£15.03

Shift Type: Double sleep-in shifts

Hours: 7:30am – 10:30pm, followed by a sleep-in on every shift

Rota: 3-week rolling rota

Weekends: 1 Saturday worked, 1 Sunday worked, and 1 weekend off

Essentials: Must hold a FULL UK driving licence and a Level 3 in Children Residential Care and/or equivalent.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervise Support Workers and cascade information so that disadvantaged young people are cared for, guided and incentivised appropriately in line with relevant legislative, contractual and inspection framework requirements.
  • Demonstrate to the young people the value of education, care and development so that they improve behaviour, by being a positive role model.
  • Build and create mutual trust and respect with young people in order that they respond and react appropriately to information and instructions.
  • Define structures and boundaries of behaviour to young people, acting as a positive role model, so they understand behaviour expected.
