Rota:
- MK1 - Day shifts: 1 on 2 off. 0800-2030, Waking Nights and are 3 on 3 off
- MK44 - 2 week rolling. Week 1 Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday. Week 3 Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. 0800-2030
Essentials:
- Willing to give personal care (training provided if required)
- Ideally be a car driver
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being and development of the Children in our care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing Personalized Care: Offering individualised care and support to children and young people with learning disabilities, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Promoting Independence: Encouraging and facilitating the development of life skills and independence among residents.
- Creating a Safe Environment: Maintaining a safe and clean-living environment, following all safety protocols and procedures.
- Implementing Care Plans: Collaborating with the care team to implement and monitor individual care plans.
- Supporting Educational Goals: Assisting young people in accessing educational opportunities and supporting their learning and development.
- Building Positive Relationships: Establishing and maintaining positive and respectful relationships with children, their families, and external professionals.
- Documentation: Keeping accurate records and recording any incidents, following company policies.
- Crisis Intervention: Responding to crisis situations calmly and effectively, ensuring the safety and well-being of children and staff.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience working with children and young people with learning disabilities is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Compassion, patience, and empathy.
- Flexibility in work hours, including evenings and weekends.
