We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed and nurturing Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our KS2 team. This is an exciting opportunity to support our learners in developing the skills, confidence and curiosity that will underpin their future success.
About the Role
The successful candidate will work alongside the KS2 teachers to provide high-quality support for children's learning and development. The role will include:
- Supporting children within the classroom environment.
- Working with individuals and small groups to deliver targeted interventions.
- Supporting pupils' social, emotional and academic development.
- Contributing to the planning and preparation of engaging learning activities.
- Monitoring and recording pupil progress.
- Providing cover for teachers' PPA time.
- Providing short-term class cover during teacher absence or sickness.
- Promoting positive behaviour and fostering a safe and stimulating learning environment.
- Building strong relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
We are looking for someone who has a passion for education and understands the importance of creating positive learning experiences for children.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Holds a recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Has experience of working within KS2
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is enthusiastic, flexible and highly motivated.
- Has high expectations for children's achievement and behaviour.
- Works effectively as part of a team and can use their initiative when working independently.
- Is committed to supporting the wellbeing and development of all children.
