Reporting to the Design Director, this role is a senior creative position. You will be responsible for driving the design direction of the footwear collections.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Creative Director and design team on seasonal concepts, to formulate cornerstone ideas and pieces that distinguish each season;
- Extensively research creative ideas and provide input on the key design elements of each season;
- Research ideas, source reference material and coordinate the update of the Design board;
- Participate in design meetings – concepting, fabric selection, colour palette development, collection structure, retail buying and planning input, and garment design;
- Work with the Creative Director to effectively interpret and incorporate appropriate sales analysis provided by the Retail Buying team;
- Collaborate with Pattern Makers, Design & Development Team, Design Studio Directors, and all the stakeholders involved in the creative process (from inception to finalization).
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of work experience in a similar role;
- Professional knowledge of MS Office, Adobe, Photoshop and Illustrator;
- 3D tools knowledge will be a plus;
- Fluency in English.
