About the Role
Four Agency Worldwide is seeking an ambitious, ideas‑driven account manager to help deliver standout campaigns across culture, creative industries, destination marketing and cultural placemaking. This is a role for someone who lives and breathes culture: someone who sees how creative expression shapes identity, how public spaces tell stories, and how cultural ecosystems drive social and economic transformation. You’ll bring energy, curiosity and precision to projects spanning globally renowned cultural institutions and prizes, emerging creative sectors, major destinations and transformative placemaking initiatives. You’ll be joining a fast‑paced, growth-focussed, collaborative team across multiple locations and services internationally. This is the opportunity to work at the intersection of creativity, strategy and community impact, while pushing boundaries to deliver work that is culturally resonant and sector‑leading. At Four, we hire people who can grow skills, client relationships and careers.
Key Responsibilities
- Client counsel & strategic leadership: Lead client update meetings and provide day‑to‑day strategic counsel across culture, destination and placemaking accounts. Offer insights on cultural trends, audience behaviour, creative sector shifts and placemaking strategy to shape campaign plans. Contribute to proposals and strategic thinking that centre cultural relevance, creative excellence and community impact.
- Research & insight development: Conduct research for existing clients and new business opportunities across creative industries and future‑facing cultural sectors. Apply sophisticated research and insight techniques to inform programme planning and audience targeting.
- Communication & storytelling: Present ideas effectively in writing and in person, using storytelling that resonates with cultural audiences and stakeholders.
- Writing & content creation: Draft reports, meeting summaries, media coverage updates and strategic documents. Write compelling press materials including releases, features, bylined articles and backgrounders. Develop and oversee creative content for social channels and integrated campaigns.
- Media relations, social media & amplification: Maintain strong media and influencer contacts across arts, publishing, lifestyle, culture, destination and creative economy sectors. Pitch stories, features and interviews to generate high‑impact coverage. Monitor media and cultural trends to inform content and campaign ideas.
- New business & sector presence: Track cultural trends and industry opportunities to identify new business leads. Contribute to new business proposals and represent Four at pitches, industry events and cultural sector gatherings.
- Supplier & partner management: Manage supplier relationships effectively and within budget.
- Financial management: Complete accurate timesheets and support budgeting for client work and new business. Ensure programmes are delivered within scope and budget while identifying opportunities for added value.
What You’ll Bring
Minimum 3+ years’ experience in consumer PR or integrated communications, ideally within culture, arts, retail, creative industries, placemaking or destination marketing. Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills. Strong organisational and planning ability with a focus on quality, detail and deadlines. An interest in cultural landscapes, creative economies and the social impact of placemaking. Ability to manage and mentor junior team members. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, detail‑oriented and thrives under pressure; someone hungry to contribute to transformative creative work and to grow within an agency environment.
