Senior BI Technical Analyst – £50,000 – £58,000 – London (Hybrid) – (12 Month Fixed Term Contract)

Are you a data-driven problem solver with a passion for turning information into actionable insights? This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation as a Senior BI Technical Analyst, working at the heart of data innovation and strategic decision-making.
In this role, you’ll act as a technical lead within a high-performing analytics team, driving the development and enhancement of enterprise-wide BI solutions. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across the business, design and deliver dashboards, and ensure robust, high-quality data to support evidence-based decisions.
You’ll work with leading BI technologies including Microsoft SQL Server BI Suite and Tableau, while also supporting key projects such as the transition from Tableau Server to Tableau Cloud.
What you’ll be doing:
– Designing and implementing data models and BI solutions to meet business needs
– Leading on student number intake and population modelling projects
– Developing impactful dashboards and reports for senior leadership
– Running stakeholder workshops and demonstrations to embed data-driven culture
– Supporting the migration of BI platforms and ensuring best practice in governance
– Deputising for senior leaders within the team when required
What we’re looking for:
– Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Tableau (ideally Tableau Cloud)
– A track record of managing the full BI and Data Warehouse lifecycle
– Excellent stakeholder management skills – able to influence at senior levels
– Strong problem-solving, communication, and organisational abilities
– Ability to work independently, balance competing priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Desirable experience:
– Previous exposure to the Higher Education sector
-Knowledge of enterprise applications such as HR or Finance systems
– Experience working in a project-based setting
