The Senior Water Feature Technician is responsible for the installation support, maintenance, fault finding, repair, and technical supervision of commercial water features, fountains, filtration systems, and associated electrical and mechanical equipment. The role combines hands-on engineering expertise with leadership responsibilities, ensuring all maintenance works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest professional standards. The successful candidate will provide technical guidance to engineers, support clients directly, and play a key role in maintaining service quality across the maintenance division. This role would suit an experienced water feature or electrically / mechanically biased maintenance engineer looking to progress into a senior technical position with leadership responsibility. The successful candidate will be confident managing technical issues on-site while supporting the development of the wider engineering team *Key Responsibilities* *Technical Responsibilities* * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on commercial water features and fountain systems.
* Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and control system faults.
* Service and maintain: § Pumps and pipework systems § Filtration systems § Chemical dosing systems § UV and water treatment systems § Lighting systems § PLC/control panels and electrical systems * Water level and pressure control equipment
* Conduct testing and commissioning of water feature systems following maintenance or repair works.
* Monitor water quality and carry out chemical balancing where required.
* Ensure all systems operate safely, efficiently, and within design specifications.
* Complete site inspections and identify potential issues before failures occur.

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

* Full clean UK driving licence.
* Competent IT skills including reporting software and Microsoft Office. *Desirable* * Electrical qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ, 18th Edition, or equivalent).
* Experience with PLCs and automated control systems.
* SSSTS / SMSTS qualification or willingness to undertake associated training and examination.
* CSCS card holder.
* IPAF and/or PASMA certification.
