How to prepare for a job interview at Fountain

Know Your Care Experience

Make sure you can clearly articulate your previous care experience. Think about specific situations where you provided personal care, medication reminders, or companionship. This will show that you understand the role and can relate to the responsibilities you'll have.

Demonstrate Independence

Since the job requires working independently, prepare examples that showcase your ability to manage tasks without supervision. Discuss how you've successfully handled challenges in past roles, especially in a home care setting.

Show Your Compassion

Elder is all about forming real connections with care recipients. Be ready to share stories that highlight your empathy and understanding. This will help interviewers see that you’re not just there to do a job, but to make a difference in someone’s life.

Ask Thoughtful Questions

Prepare some questions to ask during the interview. Inquire about the support you'll receive from Family Support Specialists or how the scheduling works. This shows your interest in the role and helps you gauge if it’s the right fit for you.
