Job Description

The Role.

6-month Fixed Term Contract starting 26th January

Reporting into the Financial Systems & Reporting Manager (“FSRM”), you will be responsible for credit control and support the accounts receivable function of the finance team. You will have responsibility for the debtor ledger, coordinate with our Sales team, recover unpaid debt, liaise with customers and resolve queries where necessary. You will be an integral part of the finance team, ensuring our deadlines are met as well as providing insight and reports to relevant stakeholders.

Location

London, in office 2 days per week as per our company policy.

Job Requirements

  • Excellent attention to detail with an organised and methodical approach to your work

Finance Experience

The successful candidate is likely to possess:

  • Experience gained through an internship or prior finance team role
  • A minimum of a B grade in GCSE Maths (or equivalent)
  • Microsoft Excel knowledge essential
  • Experience of SAP Business One preferable

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the company’s multi-currency debtor ledger – monitoring customer accounts, coordinate with our Sales team, recover outstanding debt and resolve customer queries
  • Allocate incoming customer payments and reconcile customer accounts
  • Prepare monthly aged debt reporting and attend debtor meetings with the FSRM and CFO
  • Support the Account Receivables team as necessary – send invoices to customers, issue credit card payment links to customers, record incoming customer payments and produce customer software licenses
  • Operate and maintain financial controls in our accounts receivable business process
  • Assist in month end reporting requirements
  • Assist in data gathering for internal and external audit
  • Responding to internal and external queries promptly
  • General ad-hoc duties as required
