“Be the heartbeat of Poole’s most vibrant workspace.” At FOUNDRY in Poole, members don’t talk about the desks or the Wi‑Fi. They talk about the people. They talk about the team that remembers their names, solves problems quickly and keeps the place feeling warm and alive. We’re adding a Community Manager (maternity cover) to that team. You’ll be the person who brings the space to life. You’ll welcome members, support their day, keep the atmosphere positive and make sure everything runs smoothly. You’ll handle move‑ins and move‑outs with care. You’ll plan events that bring people together. You’ll support newsletters and marketing activity. You’ll run tours that show why FOUNDRY works so well for growing businesses. You’ll work closely with the senior community manager. You’ll manage hosts. You’ll coordinate rotas. You’ll complete building walks to keep standards high. You’ll keep Health and Safety tight through Bright Safe, manage documents, update assessments and make sure checks stay on schedule.

Your responsibilities will include and report directly into the Senior Community Manager:
Member Engagement & Retention
- Deliver a positive member experience within your community ensuring high levels of member satisfaction.
- Be the go-to person in your location for all member queries, resolving any issues in a timely manner.
- Cover the front desk when necessary.
- Own the move in and move out process for all new members.
Sales, Marketing and Events
- Reporting to the Senior Community Manager to source new member perks and incentives for FOUNDRY members.
- Work alongside the marketing team as and when required.
- Create and deliver engaging member events.
- Ensure weekly members newsletters are sent.
- Ensure all events are in line with company marketing.
- Conduct tours following the complete sales process when required.
- Carry out walk-in tours for hot desking memberships when required.
- Working alongside the Senior Community Manager to achieve your location KPI’s.
- Update and complete sales CRM as required.
Location operations & Facilities management
- Managing ongoing communication with operation & maintenance teams (respectively) to ensure that processes are running smoothly.
- Reporting operational KPIs to manage and lead on compliance and governance.
- Manage the Community Hosts.
- Report any facilities or operational issues to the relevant department.
- Carry out regular building walks to ensure FOUNDRY operating standards are maintained.
- Contribute and lead on maintaining key KPIs.
Health & Safety
- To be the Health and Safety lead for the location, using the Bright Safe system.
- Ensuring all compulsory documents are current and signed appropriately.
- Keeping the Risk Assessments current and relevant.
- Ensuring the team are compliant to the courses required.
- Ensuring the regular Fire Safety checks and reports are completed to the schedule.
- Ensure all Health and Safety documentation is kept organised and filed correctly.
Skills & Knowledge
- Experience working within a coworking space or building communities.
- Outstanding communication and listening skills and should be able to boost brand awareness.
- Natural connector and enabler.
- Highly motivated individual who is happy to work in a distributed team.
- Great organisational skills and capacity for working independently.
- Health and Safety experience in a commercial workplace.
