Assistant Facilities Manager - Hard FM
We're recruiting an Assistant Facilities Manager to support the delivery of Hard FM services across a busy, technically demanding estate.
This is a great opportunity for someone from a Hard FM, engineering or estates background who has experience supervising maintenance teams, contractors and day-to-day site operations.
You'll work closely with the Facilities Manager, helping ensure planned and reactive maintenance is delivered safely, efficiently and in line with contractual requirements.
The role will include:
- Supporting the day-to-day delivery of Hard FM services
- Supervising engineers, contractors and specialist suppliers
- Managing PPM and reactive maintenance activity
- Supporting compliance, permits and safe systems of work
- Monitoring jobs, KPIs and service performance
- Liaising with clients, operational teams and stakeholders
- Supporting small works and maintenance projects
We're looking for someone with experience within Facilities Management, Estates or Engineering, ideally within a complex or regulated environment. Previous experience across MOD/Defence, healthcare, critical environments or large estates would be particularly relevant.
