What do our IT Network Engineers do?

  • Own the corporate network across all sites: switching, routing, wireless, firewalls, VPN, and inter-site connectivity.
  • Manage network performance for high-throughput workloads — large Perforce syncs, build artefact movement, and GPU workstation traffic.
  • Design and maintain network segmentation and zero-trust-ish access in partnership with the Security function.
  • Lead monitoring, capacity planning, and documentation to build a resilient network architecture.
  • Manage vendors and circuits for ISPs and network hardware.
  • Provide cross-coverage of the wider corporate IT estate and participate in an on-call rota for critical incidents.

What does a good IT Network Engineer look like to us?

  • A true passion for networking and infrastructure is a must.
  • Have deep, expert-level network engineering experience: enterprise switching and routing, BGP and OSPF, firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Aruba, Junos, Arista or similar), wireless, and VPN. CCNP-calibre as an illustration.
  • Have experience designing and securing multi-site networks, ideally moving high volumes of data between locations.
  • Carry a genuine full-stack baseline across Windows systems, identity and access, cloud, and endpoint — and are quick to learn where you are light.
  • Are comfortable with network automation and infrastructure as code (Python, Ansible, Terraform or similar).
  • Have cloud networking exposure across GCP, Azure, or AWS.
  • Are calm and methodical under pressure during outages, with strong root-cause discipline.

We are always keen to hear from passionate network engineers, so join the 'verse and become our latest Star Citizen!
