About the Role
The Entrepreneur-in-Residence plays a key role in supporting founders across our programmes while contributing directly to the delivery of high‑quality founder experiences. This role blends mentorship, group facilitation and programme delivery. You will provide expert guidance to early‑stage founders, support them with strategy and investment readiness, and take an active role in the delivery of in‑person events, workshops and community activities. You will work with Programme Managers to deliver sessions, represent Foundervine at events and ensure founders receive a world‑class experience across all touchpoints. This role is well‑suited to experienced founders, operators and facilitators who enjoy working directly with diverse entrepreneurs in a fast‑paced and collaborative environment.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one mentorship to early-stage founders, supporting idea validation, business modelling, traction, investment readiness and overall strategic development.
- Guide founders with pitch decks, fundraising plans, business plans, product development, branding, marketing, operations and go‑to‑market strategy.
- Lead or support in‑person workshops, office hours, growth circles, panels, fireside chats and key programme events such as launches and showcases.
- Represent Foundervine at events and work with Programme Managers to deliver high‑quality founder experiences using prepared briefs.
- Help build a supportive founder community and facilitate peer learning and collaboration.
- Review applications, support interviews and contribute to fair programme selection.
- Engage with investors, experts and partners to create opportunities for founders.
- Provide progress updates, flag risks and collaborate with the Programmes team to improve delivery and content.
Our Ideal Candidates Will Have
- Experience founding, scaling or advising ventures, with strong coaching or mentoring skills.
- Excellent communication and facilitation abilities, online and in‑person.
- Confidence leading sessions and group discussions.
- Strong understanding of lean start‑up principles and early‑stage strategy.
- High emotional intelligence, practical problem‑solving skills and the ability to offer clear feedback.
- Flexibility across different programme formats and founder needs.
- Experience in product development, innovation or growth strategy is an advantage.
Commitment
This is a zero‑hour contract, with a target commitment of 7.5 hours a week, that provides flexibility for both the Entrepreneur-in-Residence and Foundervine. Hours and assignments vary depending on programme needs.
