This role is for a UK-qualified fintech focused lawyer to join our fintech team as a Senior Associate or Principal Associate with 4 - 8+ years PQE.
Key Responsibilities:
- Is tech-savvy and has experience with tech solutions in fintech (open-banking, payments and/or capital markets a big plus).
- Commercial first transactional skill set - knows how to handle all levels of revenue generating customer agreements (customer agreement, product/services terms, supplier engagements, confidentiality arrangements etc.).
- Knowledge of EBA Guidelines, DORA and other operational resilience requirements.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of data privacy issues.
- Has excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Wants to take on responsibility in a supportive environment working on and leading client relationships with some of the fastest scaling fintechs across the globe.
- Knows how to present solutions to complex issues without using jargon.
- Wants to help build a new firm that is growing extremely quickly.
- Is entrepreneurial to their core and champions their clients’ interests.
- Has experience of managing at least one direct report.
- Enjoys being part of the tech ecosystem, including engaging in networking and business development activities.

Our fintech team is one of the most recognised in the UK, advising on complex transactions, commercial outsourcing arrangements, payments (traditional cards + newer innovations in Open Banking and the EMI space), crypto and digital assets, and capital markets work.
