About Founders Forum Group: Founders Forum Group is an event-powered community and family of businesses supporting innovative entrepreneurs at every stage of their journeys. Founded in 2005, our invite-only forums unite founders, investors, corporate and government leaders to tackle era-defining questions in iconic locations across the globe. Since 2019, Founders Forum has partnered with Informa Tech to celebrate the strength and diversity of UK tech through London Tech Week.

Role Overview: We’re looking for an ambitious, organised and proactive Event Operations & Content Intern to join both the Event Ops and Content teams. This role sits at the heart of one of our most complex and exhilarating periods of the year — supporting the build-up to Founders Forum Global and helping make the event a world-class experience for speakers and guests alike. This internship offers real responsibility, a chance to learn from event-creators and storytelling professionals, and direct exposure to the engine-room of global event delivery and speaker content production.

What You’ll Do: You’ll be the glue between logistics and content at our biggest event of the year — working hands-on with both teams to ensure everything runs smoothly, on time and with our signature attention to detail.

  • Content Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with speakers ahead of the event: sending speaking briefs, gathering bios and coordinating pre-event intro calls.
  • Support on-the-day operations, including helping speakers and guests get where they need to be and ensuring sessions run on time.
  • Prepare session assets including headshot slides and content collateral for live presentations.
  • Work closely with the Content team to support seamless content delivery and engagement throughout the event.
  • Event Operations Responsibilities:
  • Research and source high end luxury gift bag items.
  • Liaise with suppliers and partners to coordinate logistics, deliveries and timing for gift bag items.
  • Help manage and track inventory, delivery schedules and on-site setup of the gift bags.

This role is for you if:

  • You are able to think proactively - you make things happen and can come to the table with ideas.
  • You are able to stay organised to timelines and project manage multiple deliverables.
  • You have entrepreneurial drive - this means you are self-driven, naturally curious and excited about working with startups and scaleups.
  • You are a people person and enjoy building relationships across different types of stakeholders and you enjoy bringing these people together to create impactful events or connections.
  • You thrive working in teams and are passionate about our mission at Founders Forum Group.

Requirements:

  • Applicants must be available to intern with us starting between April 20th - April 27th and working with us until Friday 12th June.
  • Keen interest in events, VC, accelerators, community.
  • Strong organisational, administrative and project management skills.
  • Strong relationship builder and communicator.
  • Right to work in the UK.

This role requires working 4 days a week in the office. This role will also require some travel around the UK.

Benefits: We offer a range of flexible, discretionary benefits to our team. These currently include:

  • London living wage with a 35 hour work week 9:30 - 17:30 and include a one hour break.
  • Lunch 1x/week, office snacks, and regular team drinks.
  • Access to the Founders Forum Group network of businesses and wider tech ecosystem.
  • We currently have a hybrid working model with 4 days spent in the office and 1 day with the option to work remotely/from home.

Why Join Us: We’re a small team trusted with delivering moments that matter to some of the most influential founders and investors in the world. You should join us if you want to help create the gatherings where tomorrow gets built.
