Our client is one of the UK's largest and most established charities, supporting over half a million people each year across hundreds of services nationwide. Their work spans early years, mental health, fostering, and support for vulnerable young people — and their people depend on systems that work.
They are looking for an Oracle Cloud Payroll System Analyst to join their Technology team on a permanent, fully remote basis. Oracle Fusion went live in September 2024 and the team is now in stabilisation mode. This is not a fresh implementation role — they need someone who can roll up their sleeves, diagnose problems in a live environment, and fix them. If you're the type of person who goes down rabbit holes until something is resolved, this role is for you.
What you’ll be doing:
- Owning the day-to-day support and configuration of the Oracle Cloud Fusion Payroll UK environment
- Diagnosing and resolving payroll defects — including pension calculation issues and absence scheme anomalies — in a live system
- Managing incidents through to resolution in line with ITIL methodology
- Supporting and expanding quarterly release testing as the team matures
- Working closely with People, Finance, and Technology teams to ensure the payroll environment runs compliantly and efficiently
- Contributing to continuous improvement of system processes and configurations
What they need:
- Hands-on Oracle Cloud Fusion Payroll UK experience — configuration and live environment support is essential. EBS experience alone will not be considered
- Strong UK payroll legislation knowledge — PAYE, NI, RTI, pension auto enrolment, statutory payments
- Experience diagnosing and resolving payroll defects in a live environment
- Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Absence Management and OTL experience is desirable given how closely these modules feed into payroll
- Oracle Redwood UI experience is beneficial
The detail:
- Salary: £55,000
- Working pattern: Fully remote, 35 hours per week
- Contract: Permanent
- Start date: Interviews from w/c 13th April
