Most architect roles ask you to maintain what's there. This one asks you to shape what comes next. We're working with one of England's largest purpose-driven not-for-profit organisations on a significant technology transformation.

Two Technical Architect positions, newly created, reporting into a newly formed architecture function. This is a design authority role. You'll govern architecture across a hybrid Microsoft Azure estate spanning cloud, networking, identity, integration, security, and data. You'll challenge, assure, and shape — not deliver.

The right person has been an embedded internal architect, not just a consultant parachuting in. They've sat in governance forums, produced HLDs, and been accountable for the decisions they've made.

If that's you, and the idea of building something from scratch at an organisation that genuinely matters appeals, let's talk.
