A national, mission-driven organisation is building a brand-new architecture function and is looking for a Data Architect to lead the data discipline within it.
No data architecture practice exists today, so you'll set the standards, define the patterns, and own the enterprise data model from day one.
- Act as the design authority for data across the organisation
- Define and maintain data architecture principles, patterns and standards
- Own the enterprise data model, data dictionary and business glossary
- Design data models and integration patterns supporting analytics, operational systems and AI use cases
- Promote strong data governance, lineage and quality practices
Hands-on experience with Azure data services (Fabric, Synapse, Databricks, ADF, Purview or similar)
Strong background in data architecture or data design across complex environments
Proven experience designing data models, flows and integration approaches
Exposure to modern cloud data platforms and analytics
Sound understanding of data governance and regulatory considerations
