The Role
We’re looking for a highly talented Graphic Design Intern to join our team in London and help shape the visual identity of Foundermatcha. This isn’t a passive internship. You’ll be working directly on live product UI/UX, branding, and client-facing materials from day one.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Branding & Visual Identity: Refine Foundermatcha’s visual language across digital touchpoints
- UI/UX Design: Design and iterate mobile app screens and flows in Figma
- Marketing Assets: Create high-quality visuals for social media, website, and campaigns
- Pitch Decks: Design clean, compelling (powerpoint) decks for clients and partners
- Design Systems: Help establish consistency across typography, spacing, colour, and components
What We’re Looking For
- Strong proficiency in Figma (non-negotiable)
- Solid proven foundation in graphic design principles (layout, typography, hierarchy)
- Portfolio that demonstrates minimalist, clean, and well-composed design
- Understanding of Zen / asian-inspired aesthetics, minimalism, or even brutalism
- Ability to move between branding and product design seamlessly
- Detail-oriented—spacing, alignment, and visual consistency matter
- Good verbal English communication skills and ability to articulate and defend design decisions
- Ideally located in London and able to visit our office from time-to-time.
What You Get
- Real design ownership across brand + product, not just mock tasks
- Work on a live startup with real users and real traction
- Direct exposure to founders, product, and client-facing storytelling
- Discretionary cash bonus based on performance
- Opportunity to transition into a paid or equity-based role after ~2 months
Who This Is Perfect For
You’re someone who:
- Cares deeply about clean, intentional design
- Is obsessed with simplicity and clarity
- Wants to build something from the ground up
- Is excited by the intersection of tech, startups, and aesthetics
