Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and run the inclusion room on a daily basis
  • Maintain a calm, structured and controlled environment
  • Deal confidently with challenging behaviour
  • Support students with emotional regulation and behaviour reflection
  • Ensure school behaviour systems and policies are followed consistently
  • Communicate effectively with senior leadership teams and staff
  • Act as a strong consistent and professional presence
  • Complete records logs and reporting as required

About You

  • You have experience working in schools or with young people
  • You are confident managing groups of students independently
  • You are able to handle challenging behaviour calmly and professionally
  • You have strong communication skills
  • You are reliable, punctual and professional
  • You understand safeguarding and professional boundaries

  • Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one

  • Annual leave entitlement is included within the salary and must be taken during school closure periods. Leave cannot be taken during term time

Job type: Full‑time

Pay: £14.00‑£16.00 per hour depending on experience

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
