Regional Account Manager Region: East of England (AL, CB, CM, CO, IP, LU, MK, NR, PE, SG, SS, ME, CT, LN) Travel: Regular regional travel required The Role As a Regional Account Manager, you’ll drive new business growth by building and managing relationships with mortgage intermediaries across your region. You’ll promote the Foundation delivering a seamless experience for brokers while growing high-quality lending volumes. You’ll own your territory, executing a clear strategic plan to increase market presence, deepen partner engagement, and consistently exceed targets. What You’ll Be Doing Develop and execute a regional business plan to drive new lending and market share growth Build, manage, and grow relationships with mortgage intermediaries to maximise business performance Proactively generate new broker relationships and new business opportunities Deliver compelling presentations (face-to-face, virtual, events) showcasing the proposition Act as a specialist SME to understand the nuances of the different market segments we operate within, such as BTL, residential and specialist property types Leverage market insight, trends, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and influence strategy Maintain accurate pipeline management, activity tracking, and forecasting via CRM Work closely with telephone account managers to engage with the region Ensure excellent service levels and act as a trusted partner to intermediaries Represent Foundation as a brand ambassador in the market What We’re Looking For Proven track record in a BDM / sales role within mortgages or specialist lending Strong knowledge of the mortgage market Demonstrable ability to build pipeline, win new business, and exceed targets Highly effective communicator with strong presentation and influencing skills Commercially driven, self-motivated, and resilient Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels Highly organised with excellent territory and time management Solid understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g. Consumer Duty, TCF) Comfortable using CRM systems to manage pipeline and performance Full UK driving licence and based within the region What Success Looks Like Consistent delivery or overachievement of lending targets Strong regional presence with growing intermediary engagement through effective business plan execution High-quality pipeline and conversion rates Positive broker feedback and strong service reputation Desirable CeMAP Previous BDM experience and/or experience within specialist lending market What We Offer Competitive base salary attractive incentive scheme 25 days holiday birthday off Enhanced maternity, paternity & adoption leave Contributory pension (up to 8% matched) Private medical insurance Life assurance Worker support payment
