We’re recruiting for a Technical Services Manager to join a prominent, fast-paced and high-footfall environment in the East Midlands. This is not a “keep the lights on” role—this is a position with real influence. You’ll sit within the senior leadership team, taking ownership of technical operations while playing a key role in shaping the future of the site. With major investment underway and a refreshed, energised team already making an impact, this is an opportunity to be part of meaningful change. You’ll lead all aspects of technical services across a large, complex environment, ensuring compliance, operational excellence, and delivery of both strategic and day-to-day priorities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Health & Safety and statutory compliance across the site
  • Contractor management and performance oversight
  • Leading technical operations across a large-scale environment
  • Ownership and management of service charge budgets
  • Responsibility for CAPEX and OPEX planning and control
  • Delivering major and minor projects & fit outs
  • Tenant liaison

ABOUT YOU:

We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical expertise with commercial awareness and leadership capability. You’ll ideally have:

  • A recognised technical qualification (electrical, mechanical, or building services)
  • Proven experience in a large, fast-paced environment
  • Strong contractor and project management experience
  • Confidence managing budgets (service charge, CAPEX & OPEX)
  • Excellent communication and tenant-facing skills
  • A proactive, hands-on approach, someone who can step in when needed
  • A collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence at senior level
