The Opportunity
Our client is a pan-European private equity platform focused exclusively on the logistics real estate sector. Backed by significant capital and currently in an active deployment phase across multiple European markets, the business is at an exciting stage of growth. This is an opportunity to join a lean, high-performing team where research directly informs live investment decisions.
The Role
Support the investment team with market intelligence, data analysis, and reporting across the firm's target logistics markets. This is a hands-on research role — sitting close to deal activity rather than at a distance from it — suited to someone who wants their analysis to have direct, visible impact on capital deployment decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and analyse logistics and industrial market fundamentals across relevant European markets: rents, yields, take-up, vacancy, and supply pipeline.
- Build and maintain comparable transaction and market databases to support deal underwriting.
- Produce market reports and briefing notes for the investment team and, where relevant, investors/LPs.
- Monitor macroeconomic and occupier demand drivers (e-commerce growth, supply chain trends, planning policy) relevant to logistics real estate.
- Support due diligence on live transactions with market data, comparables, and sector context.
- Liaise with agents, brokers, and data providers across target markets to keep intelligence current.
You
- 2–4 years' experience in commercial property research, investment analysis, or agency research. Logistics/industrial sector exposure preferred but not essential.
- Background from an agency research team or a fund/institutional research or analyst function.
- Degree in real estate, economics, geography, or a related discipline; RICS-accredited degree or progress toward AssocRICS/MRICS is a plus but not essential.
- Confident with market data platforms (CoStar, PropertyData, MSCI/RCA) and strong Excel modelling skills.
- Comfortable working across multiple European markets; additional European language skills are an advantage but not required.
- Strong written communication — able to translate data into clear, decision-ready insight for an investment audience.
- Self-starter who is energised by a fast-moving, deployment-heavy environment rather than a slower institutional pace.
Exceptional opportunity to join and help shape a business on an accelerated growth curve.
