A leading owner and operator of UK and European shopping centres is looking for an ambitious and confident individual to join their team as a PR and Media Manager. They are passionate about delivering an exciting and entertaining experience to all visitors, as well as excellent service to all partners and stakeholders. They believe in recognising and rewarding staff, inspiring their team to produce excellent results. The centre is going through an exciting redevelopment and it is a genuinely exciting time to join the team!

The role:

  • Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will manage, implementing and driving the PR strategy through online and offline initiatives.
  • Develop and implement PR strategy in conjunction with the Marketing Manager.
  • Deliver innovative campaigns to maintain and raise the profile of the destination, regionally and in line with national brand strategy.
  • Drive frequency of visits, dwell time, revenue and market share.
  • Take responsibility for all media relations undertaken in house.
  • Build effective working relationships and strategic partnerships with a variety of stakeholders including third party agencies, journalists and editors.
  • Ensure a positive and coherent brand image is always conveyed.

The candidate:

  • Capable and experienced PR professional.
  • Agency experience is preferred.
  • B2C experience is essential.
  • Fast paced and organised with great attention to detail.
