Centre Administrator – Marketplace Bolton, Bolton Do you enjoy keeping things organised, supporting operations, and being part of a busy retail environment? Marketplace Bolton is looking for a Centre Administrator to support the team in keeping the centre running smoothly each day. This is a hands-on role where you’ll get involved in everything from maintenance coordination and budgets to tenant communication and safety compliance. What you’ll be doing * Coordinating maintenance requests and liaising with contractors * Tracking budgets, raising purchase orders, and checking invoices * Keeping compliance documents, insurance, and licences up to date * Supporting audits, management reports, and financial reviews * Helping manage emergency procedures and safety records * Assisting with tenant moves, updates, and communications * Preparing permits, keeping access information current, and ensuring records are accurate * Supporting the cleaning and security teams to maintain high standards * Coordinating charity collections, mall activity, and community events * Building relationships with tenants and collecting monthly sales data * Providing admin support across operations, marketing, and events Why you’ll love this role * Be part of a supportive and close-knit on-site team * Get involved in a variety of tasks with no two days are the same * Gain great exposure to both operations and property management * Play a key role in a busy, community-focused shopping centre * Competitive salary up to £30,000, depending on experience * Full-time hours, Monday to Friday (8:30am – 5:30pm), with weekend duty cover on a rota (1/4 weekends) and a day off in lieu What we’re looking for * Strong organisational and administrative skills * Confident communicator with a professional approach * Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) * Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay calm under pressure * Experience in property, retail, or facilities admin is an advantage * Awareness of health and safety standards (training can be provided) * Proactive, reliable, and a strong team player
