Shopping Centre, Mixed-Use, & Commercial Facilities Management - 📞07702911023
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy neighbourhood shopping centre comprising retail units, food & beverage outlets, and an on-site car park. The role also offers the opportunity to support and manage facilities across two additional commercial assets within the wider portfolio.
This is a hands‑on role requiring strong stakeholder engagement, contractor management, and a solid understanding of both hard and soft services. You will play a key role in ensuring the centre is safe, compliant, well‑maintained, and operating efficiently for occupiers, customers, and owners.
Key Responsibilities
- Full facilities management responsibility for the shopping centre, including retail, F&B, and car park operations
- Management of hard and soft services (M&E, HVAC, fire systems, cleaning, security, waste, landscaping, etc.)
- Oversight of on‑site contractors and third‑party service providers, ensuring service delivery meets agreed SLAs
- Health & Safety leadership, ensuring full compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies
- Budget management, including forecasting, cost control, and service charge management
- Strong stakeholder engagement with tenants, managing agents, contractors, and internal teams
- Line management of on‑site facilities or operations staff (where applicable)
- Supporting facilities management across two additional commercial assets within the portfolio
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, sustainability, and customer experience
Ideals About You
- Proven experience in shopping centre, retail, or mixed‑use facilities management
- Strong stakeholder engagement and tenant‑facing experience
- Demonstrated team management and leadership skills
- Extensive experience managing on‑site contractors and third‑party suppliers
- Solid knowledge of hard and soft FM services
- Experience managing budgets and service charges
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety compliance, risk assessments, and statutory inspections
