A rare opportunity to join a hugely entrepreneurial private equity investor, actively deploying capital across the European logistics markets. This small, agile and highly professional team have made significant strides over the last 2 years and with the intended significant increase in AUM for 2026, they are eager to bring in a talented Asset Manager to join the business.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Portfolio Management: Oversee and optimise the operational and financial performance of assets across the UK.
- Leasing & Business Development: Lead lease negotiations, renewals, and proactive tenant engagement to maximise occupancy and rental income.
- Strategic Capex & Repositioning: Develop and implement strategic capital expenditure and repositioning plans, particularly for the Speke estate, enhancing long-term asset value.
- Property Management Oversight: Work closely with property management teams to ensure property standards, compliance, and tenant satisfaction.
- Financial & Budget Management: Manage budgets, track expenses, and assist with inputs for Axel’s financial reporting, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
- Arrears & Tenant Relations: Monitor rent arrears and coordinate with tenants to resolve issues and minimise non-recoverable losses.
- Reporting & Business Planning: Provide detailed reports on asset performance, market insights, and progress against business plans to senior management.
- Site Visits & Stakeholder Engagement: Spend significant time onsite, conducting property inspections, liaising with tenants, and fostering relationships within the local market.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in logistics or industrial real estate asset management.
- Ability to work independently, with strong organisational and time management skills.
- Experience managing repositioning projects and capital expenditure strategies.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder relationship skills.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and reporting.
- Clean driving licence is highly preferred, with willingness to spend significant time at various sites.
- Familiarity with UK property laws and lease structures.
- Experience working with private equity investors or similar institutional clients is highly advantageous but not essential.
