Junior Maintenance Engineer

LONDON

Salary: Ranging from £32,000 - £45,000 + bonus and benefits

Hours: Monday to Friday

We are recruiting a Junior Maintenance Engineer to join a dynamic team at one of London’s most ICONIC mixed-use commercial assets. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the maintenance team in delivering reactive and planned maintenance across the estate.
  • Assist in maintaining building systems, services, and equipment in line with health & safety and compliance regulations.
  • Respond promptly to helpdesk tickets and tenant requests, delivering high levels of customer service.
  • Carry out daily building checks and report any issues or defects.
  • Liaise with contractors and suppliers on site as required.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance tasks and ensure work orders are completed and logged correctly.
  • Support in minor mechanical, electrical, and fabric repairs where required.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an administration or building services-related role.
  • A good understanding of Health & Safety practices in a building environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional, and approachable manner.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Organised, reliable, and well-presented, with good time management and the ability to multitask under pressure.
  • Comfortable handling confidential information with discretion and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn on the job and participate in training and development opportunities.
  • Able to take accurate and comprehensive minutes of meetings, when required.
  • A pleasant telephone manner and efficiency in relaying messages and taking instructions.
