We’re seeking a confident communicator who enjoys working with people, understands how to develop trust with clients, and can balance multiple priorities while delivering an outstanding customer experience. You’ll become a trusted point of contact for a varied client portfolio, ensuring their properties are safe, compliant and operating efficiently, while providing a visible, professional and proactive Facilities Management service.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING...

  • Key responsibilities include:
    • Building and maintaining excellent relationships with clients, becoming a trusted advisor and first point of contact.
    • Conducting regular client meetings and site visits to review property condition, service delivery, compliance and overall customer satisfaction.
    • Producing clear, accurate and timely management reports for clients and senior management.
    • Preparing annual property budgets and monitoring expenditure throughout the year.
    • Validating invoices and ensuring expenditure is accurately managed, highlighting significant costs or quotations where appropriate.
    • Raising and managing reactive and planned works through the helpdesk system, obtaining quotations and coordinating approvals.
    • Managing supplier performance through regular review meetings, KPI monitoring and service evaluations.
    • Ensuring contractors work safely, with appropriate permits and health and safety procedures in place.
    • Carrying out detailed property inspections using company reporting templates and following agreed inspection schedules.
    • Maintaining accurate property information, compliance records and documentation across company systems.
    • Supporting statutory compliance by ensuring inspections, certifications and remedial actions are completed within required timescales.
    • Assisting with business continuity planning and emergency evacuation procedures where required.
    • Raising and maintaining work orders, ensuring contracts are updated to reflect annual increases or service variations.
    • Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistent service delivery across all client accounts.
    • Completing all required professional development and mandatory training.

WHAT WE WANT...

  • Above all else, we’re looking for someone with outstanding people skills.
  • You’ll be naturally approachable, confident communicating with a wide range of stakeholders and genuinely enjoy developing long-term client relationships.
  • You’ll also have:
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to engage professionally at every level.

    • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify opportunities to improve client service.
    • The confidence to work independently while remaining a collaborative team player.
    • A positive attitude and genuine desire to deliver exceptional customer service.
    • Proven experience managing suppliers and monitoring service performance.
    • A strong understanding of both hard and soft Facilities Management services.
    • Experience working within a Facilities Management environment (minimum two years preferred).
    • Experience managing multiple client sites is advantageous but not essential.
    • Experience implementing and improving Facilities Management processes and systems.
    • IOSH Managing Safely (essential).
