A Manchester based property company is seeking an accomplished and autonomous asset manager to join their dynamic, entrepreneurial team and take responsibility for a diverse portfolio of multi-let industrial assets. The business is in the process of recycling capital generated from a recent round of disposals, so it’s probable that you will be onboarding some new assets in the early months of this role, enabling you to create and deliver brand new asset plans.
What you will Do:
- Drive rental growth across your MLI portfolio through lease events, lettings, surrenders and regears.
- Liaise with occupiers to discuss operational requirements and explore opportunities to relocate, restructure and renegotiate.
- Explore opportunities to allocate capital to refurbishments and enhancement projects.
- Oversee the external managing agents to ensure all covenants are being complied with and estates kept in good order.
Your Experience:
- You will have experience across strategic asset management and ideally, across MLI assets.
- Rounded experience across landlord and tenant and valuation principles.
- Strong negotiation skills linked with proven astute commerciality to ensure all opportunities for asset improvement and capital appreciation can be capitalised upon.
