We are recruiting for a Building Manager with strong team management skills and experience to oversee the day-to-day operations of a landmark, BREEAM-accredited mixed-use commercial and retail asset. This is a high-profile role requiring an exceptional standard of service delivery and an unwavering commitment to sustainability and tenant experience.

As Building Manager, you will be responsible for the seamless management of this prestigious asset, ensuring all aspects of building operations are delivered to the highest standard in line with client expectations and sustainability targets. You will lead a dedicated team and work closely with contractors and service providers, while fostering excellent relationships with occupiers. This role is ideal for a motivated and professional individual who thrives in a premium property environment and takes pride in managing sustainable, best-in-class buildings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver best-in-class building management services in line with client platforms, strategies, and expectations.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the building, including direct supervision of on-site teams and contractors.
  • Direct line managing a large team and developing them.
  • Ensure all compliance, health & safety, and statutory requirements are met and exceeded.
  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships with occupiers, understanding their culture and operational needs.
  • Promote and maintain the property’s BREEAM accreditation and lead on new sustainability initiatives.
  • Monitor building performance and service levels, implementing continuous improvements where appropriate.
  • Manage budgets, service charges, and procurement processes in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Represent the asset professionally at all times, acting as the first point of contact for tenants, contractors, and visitors.

  • Proven experience in managing high-profile commercial or mixed-use assets.
  • Strong understanding of building operations, FM services, and contractor management.
  • A customer-focused mindset with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience with sustainability frameworks such as BREEAM, and a genuine passion for ESG initiatives.
  • Relevant professional qualifications (IWFM, IOSH/NEBOSH, etc.) are advantageous.
  • Strong management skills.
  • Confident budget management and reporting skills.
