Job Overview
Foundation Personnel is currently seeking an experienced Wheeled Loading Shovel Operator to work on a busy factory site in Deeside. This role involves tipping and pushing up materials in an active industrial environment, requiring a high level of safety awareness and operational efficiency. You’ll be working with a respected plant hire and contracting firm known for supporting infrastructure and industrial projects across the UK, providing reliable machinery and expert personnel to key sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a wheeled loading shovel to tip and push up materials.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Conduct daily machine checks and report any defects.
- Follow all site safety procedures and supervisor instructions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth site operations.
Requirements
- Valid CPCS or NPORS/CSCS card (essential).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role (preferred).
- Manual Handling certification (can be obtained online).
- Strong awareness of health & safety procedures on industrial/construction sites.
Shift Pattern
Week Commencing 02/05/2025:
- Mon: 5am – 2pm
- Tue: 5am – 2pm
- Wed: Off
- Thu: 5am – 2pm
- Fri: 5am – 2pm
- Sat: 5am – 2pm
Week Commencing 09/05/2025:
- Mon: 2pm – 12am
- Tue: 2pm – 12am
- Wed: 4pm – 12am
- Thu: 2pm – 12am
- Fri: 2pm – 10pm
- Sat: 2pm – 10pm
Bonus Scheme
A weekly bonus of up to £120 is available, subject to the following conditions:
- Punctual arrival and full completion of all scheduled shifts
- Completion of daily machine checks and prompt reporting of any defects
- This performance-based bonus rewards reliability, diligence, and care in maintaining equipment and site standards.
- Greasing and blowing down the machine at the end of each shift
- No damages caused due to operator error
