About Us
We're Foundation Partners — a consultancy that exists to help ambitious companies defy the odds. 90% of startups fail. We work with the ones aiming to be in the 10%, giving them the leadership, talent and culture capability to grow faster, perform better, and deliver impact way beyond their stage.
Not every fast-growing company has the in-house resource, experience or capacity to build a world‑class People, Culture & HR operation — but every one of them needs it if they want to scale without breaking. That's where we come in. We blend strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery, working as an extension of our clients' teams so they get the \"what should we do\" and the \"who's actually going to do it.\" We support companies at every stage of that journey — from building foundations and hiring the best people, to scaling org design and people strategy, to expanding leadership internationally.
We work with founders and executives who have audacious goals, bold ideas and brazen self-belief — and we bring that same energy to how we work. We challenge thinking, raise expectations, and focus relentlessly on what actually moves the needle.
We're part of Amplified, alongside Unleashed and JBM — together, the people services group supporting startups from inception to IPO. We
About the Role
This role is a unique opportunity for you to lay early foundations and accelerate your development in a career in People + Culture as you'll get to work with a variety of clients and topics at pace.
You’ll work directly with our partners — experienced people and business builders — on live client work. This role is well‑suited to someone who loves streamlining processes, pays attention to detail, and takes pride in exceptional execution.
You’ll gain exposure to some of the most exciting startups and scale‑ups, learning directly from experienced colleagues while taking on real responsibility from day one. This role is ideal for someone detail‑oriented, eager to learn, and motivated by the variety and pace of client work.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting, issuing, filing, and creating templates or automations that speed up contracts, letters, and other People support we provide to our clients
- Managing onboarding, offboarding, and related tasks for multiple clients
- Scheduling interviews and coordinating with hiring managers
- Supporting our clients with their HRIS and other systems that need to be kept up to date
- Collecting benchmarking data, updating spreadsheets, and supporting Associates with data prep
- Formatting decks and materials so client deliverables are polished and ready to share
- As you grow, you might start drafting and formatting policies, handbooks, and performance review materials using templates and adapting to our clients' tone of voice — but we'll help you step‑by‑step
Skills And Experience
We are committed to building a team with diverse experiences, so as long as most of these needs are met, please apply even if you don't tick every box.
- Some experience in People Ops, HR admin, business operations, or another detail-focused role
- Strong organisational skills — you keep track of multiple tasks and don't let things slip, and you're already building the kind of system that will let you juggle even more as you grow
- Clear, professional communication, both written and verbal — you're comfortable getting stuck into calls and meetings, and keen to build your confidence with clients over time
- A proactive streak — you flag things early rather than waiting for them to become a problem, and you know when to ask rather than guess
- You embrace technology and feel comfortable with tools such as G‑Suite, Excel/Sheets, with genuine curiosity to get hands‑on with others like Notion and HRIS platforms
- Takes pride in getting the detail right, quickly — you'd rather ship something well and move on than second‑guess it
- Curiosity about startups and a genuine interest in People + Culture, with an appetite to grow into a broader, more client‑facing role over time
Compensation, Perks & Benefits
- £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
- 25 days holiday
- 4 weeks work from abroad policy
- £600 annually to spend via our benefits platform
- Monthly lunches at our group‑wide All Hands — a chance to properly connect with everyone across Amplified, not just your immediate team
- Bi‑annual socials where we celebrate our wins and each other
- A front‑row seat to learn from some of the best experts across people, culture and talent — this is a team that will genuinely accelerate your career, not just your CV
A People team built for ambitious businesses
The old model for People & Talent doesn’t work for today's businesses. We've built a better one.
Traditionally, early‑stage Founders had two options: handle People & Talent themselves, losing precious time they should be spending on product or go‑to‑market, or hire a generalist, expected to cover everything from culture to recruitment to performance. We offer a more impactful alternative: A fully flexible, fractional People & Talent team with specialist skillsets and hands‑on delivery, ready to start driving impact for your business in weeks, not months.
