Full or Part-Time Position — ZZZ Corporate Accommodation
We’re a small boutique agency arranging corporate accommodation for some of the world’s biggest events — think Cannes, Davos, Munich, Leeds and Barcelona. We’re growing fast and need a numbers-loving new addition to the team who can keep us accurate, organised, and calm under pressure.
What You’ll Bring
- Proficient with accounting software, specifically Xero
- Organised, with great attention to detail
- Confident navigating Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
- Personable — just as comfortable on the phone as at a keyboard
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A genuine team player
- Adaptable, and always looking for a smarter way to do things
What You’ll Be Doing
- Daily and monthly bank reconciliations
- Preparing and entering journals into Xero
- Supporting the preparation of management accounts and month-end duties
- Reconciling balance sheet accounts
- Reviewing and setting up supplier payments
- Reviewing accounts receivable
- Assisting with monthly payroll and commission calculations
- Reviewing expenses, payroll records and other bits and pieces as assigned
- Assisting with VAT returns and other reporting requirements
- Teaming up with Sales & Operations to problem-solve and fix variances
