Your Role

As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in executing projects from design to completion, delivering electrical and automation solutions while ensuring high standards and safety. This position offers the chance to work across various engineering disciplines, broadening your expertise and impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on water and wastewater projects.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and sustainability standards.
  • Manage electrical project scopes, including design, procurement, installation supervision, and commissioning.
  • Participate in design activities such as cable sizing and schematic reviews.
  • Procure control panels and automation hardware.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure quality and project standards.
  • Prepare and manage documentation like Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
  • Oversee project delivery within quality and budget constraints.
  • Maintain communication with stakeholders, consultants, and subcontractors.

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, with proficiency in motive power and instrumentation.
  • Level 7 Honours Degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent electrician training.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Experience with supplier and subcontractor interactions during procurement and contracts.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of cable sizing software is desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and self-motivation are essential.
  • Valid driver's license.
