Overview
We’re seeking a Salesforce volunteer to help optimise our Nonprofit Success Pack setup. You’ll support Foundation for Change to use Salesforce more effectively for fundraising and data management, boosting our impact at a crucial time.
What difference will you make?
This will be a huge help in supporting the CEO with donor management, prospecting and applying for grants, relationship building, grant management, reporting and more. Optimising this using the Salesforce NonProfit pack will have a significant impact in terms of efficiency.
What are we looking for?
- Salesforce expertise – particularly with the Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP).
- CRM customisation – ability to configure fields, page layouts, dashboards, and reports.
- Fundraising workflows – understanding of how Salesforce Opportunities can support donor management, pipelines, and reporting.
- Data management – cleaning, importing, and structuring data for usability.
- Problem-solving – spotting inefficiencies and suggesting practical improvements.
- Training/mentoring – ability to explain Salesforce features clearly to a non-technical user.
- Short-term project mindset – experience scoping quick wins and achievable improvements without a long-term build.
What will you be doing?
Foundation for Change is a small but ambitious nonprofit that empowers people to transform their lives through education and personal development. We’ve been developing our Salesforce CRM with the Nonprofit Success Pack for some years (it is still not complete), primarily as a central place to manage our data. At present, the CEO uses the Opportunities section to support with fundraising, but is only scratching the surface in terms of making the most of its capabilities. With fundraising now a major focus for us, we’d love to work with someone who has Salesforce experience to help optimise our setup and show us how to get the most out of the platform. This would be a short-term volunteer role, ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, translating technical know-how into practical solutions, and supporting a small nonprofit to build capacity. Your input will help free up valuable time and ensure that our systems genuinely support the growth of our work. If you’ve worked with Salesforce (especially the Nonprofit Success Pack) and want to use your skills to make a real difference, we’d love to hear from you.
