Senior Finance Manager – Impact Investment
London | £60,000–£70,000 + Outstanding Benefits | Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA) | Hybrid (2 Days in Office)
We’re working with a groundbreaking investment fund focused on real social impact—supporting innovations that improve lives in developing countries. This is not your typical finance role. It’s hands-on, commercially focused, and deeply connected to a meaningful mission.
This is a critical hire for the business.
They’re looking for a qualified Senior Finance Manager to step into a broad and varied role—managing everything from core financial operations to strategic business partnering and investment support. You’ll be working directly with a forward-thinking FD and collaborating across finance, investments, and grants teams.
Why it’s different:
- You’ll support global investment activity across equity, debt, and grant funding
- You’ll be exposed to both commercial and non-profit finance work
- You’ll be involved in systems upgrades, data migration, and strategic growth planning
- You’ll be working in a lean, entrepreneurial team—fast-moving, purposeful, and collaborative
What they’re looking for:
- A fully qualified accountant (CIMA or ACCA)
- Experience in SMEs, start-ups or fintechs—where you’ve had to build and improve processes, not just run them
- Someone who’s worked across AP/AR, VAT, controls, FP&A, and financial reporting
- Commercially minded and Excel-savvy—comfortable creating and adapting financial models
- Confident working directly with senior leadership and presenting insight to non-finance teams
- Someone who genuinely wants to be in the impact investment space—not chasing just salary, but purpose
Personality fit matters here:
They want someone who’s calm under pressure, emotionally intelligent, and happy to roll their sleeves up to get things done—whether that’s month-end or high-level strategic input. You’ll need to be proactive, solutions-focused, and comfortable in an environment that’s still evolving.
The offer:
- £60,000–£70,000 salary
- Incredible benefits package including pension, private healthcare, generous holiday, and more
- 2 days per week in the London office (hybrid working)
- Full exposure to investment teams, Board-level insight, and genuine growth potential
Start date: Ideally immediate or by August—but they’ll wait for the right person (up to 3 months\’ notice)
- This role is ideal for someone looking to step up, stretch across a broader remit, and build a career in a space that blends financial challenge with global impact.
