We are looking for an Azure Support Engineer to join a growing organisation in a new role for the company. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in Azure IT support who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys troubleshooting complex cloud issues.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support for Azure cloud services and infrastructure
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize Azure environments, ensuring high availability and performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues, liaising with vendors where necessary
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and automation of cloud services
- Implement and maintain security best practices within Azure environments
- Collaborate with Development and Infrastructure teams to improve cloud infrastructure
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in an Azure IT support environment
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, Azure Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID, Virtual Machines, and Networking
- Experience with Azure environment setup and management
- Understanding of ITIL processes and experience working with ticketing systems
Desirable:
- Microsoft Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-900, AZ-500)
- Previous experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or fast-paced IT support role
