Found Industrial are recruiting a Production Welder to join a specialist engineering and manufacturing business based in West Sussex on a permanent basis. The company operates within a high-precision manufacturing environment, producing complex components and assemblies used across a range of advanced engineering applications.
This is a hands-on welding role within a clean and well-organised production facility, working as part of a small skilled team where quality and attention to detail are essential. The role would suit candidates with TIG or MIG welding experience within an engineering or manufacturing setting, particularly those comfortable working from drawings and maintaining consistent weld quality.
Key Responsibilities- TIG and/or MIG welding of precision metal components
- Working from engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Preparing materials and components prior to welding
- Maintaining consistent weld quality in line with company standards
- Carrying out visual inspections and basic quality checks on completed welds
- Supporting wider production and assembly processes where required
- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace in line with health and safety procedures
- Working collaboratively with the team to meet production targets
- Previous welding experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- TIG welding experience preferred, though MIG backgrounds will also be considered
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality work
