Pastry Chef | Artisan Bakery | £32,000 - £36,000 | London Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 base salary Working Pattern: 5-day rotating shift pattern, including rotational weekends Shift Options: 5:00am - 2:00pm or 12:30pm - 8:30pm The Opportunity We're partnering with a growing artisan bakery business that supplies premium hospitality, foodservice and wholesale customers across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a talented Pastry Chef to their pastry team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a genuine artisan bakery where quality, craftsmanship and attention to detail remain at the heart of everything they do. Working alongside an experienced pastry team, you'll play a key role in producing high-quality laminated and artisan pastry products while helping maintain the exceptional standards the business is known for. What You'll Be Doing * Producing premium artisan pastry products to the highest standards * Laminating croissants, pain au chocolat and other pastry products * Ensuring products are consistently produced to specification * Supporting daily pastry production within a busy bakery environment * Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene and housekeeping standards * Assisting with decorating and finishing products where required * Working closely with the wider pastry team to deliver quality and consistency across every shift What's In It For You? * Work within a genuine artisan bakery where craftsmanship matters * Produce premium products supplied to leading hospitality, café and foodservice customers * Choice of shift pattern depending on your preference and strengths * Clear opportunities for progression as the business continues to grow * Supportive and experienced bakery team * Better work-life balance than many traditional bakery environments What We're Looking For * Previous experience within a pastry, bakery or artisan food production environment * Strong lamination skills - this is essential * Experience producing croissants, pain au chocolat and laminated pastry products * Passion for pastry craftsmanship and product quality * Excellent attention to detail * Good understanding of food hygiene and food safety standards * Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced production environment * A positive team player who enjoys working within a close-knit bakery team This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing artisan bakery business that genuinely invests in its people, products and future.
