The Role
We’re working with a busy engineering and manufacturing business looking to bring in a Labourer / Workshop Assistant to support the shop floor. This is a hands-on, entry-level role suited to someone practical, reliable and keen to learn. You’ll be supporting skilled engineers and fabricators with a range of day-to-day tasks across the workshop.
Key Responsibilities
- General workshop support including cleaning and maintaining work areas
- Assisting with basic tasks such as drilling, cutting and fettling
- Supporting welders and assembly staff with preparation work
- Moving materials and components around the workshop
- Following basic instructions and health safety procedures
- Supporting across different areas of the business as required
