Warehouse Operative / Picker & Packer Edenbridge, Kent | £12.71 per hour | Temporary seasonal work We’re looking for reliable Warehouse Operatives / Picker Packers to join a busy warehouse team from October through to Christmas. You don’t need previous warehouse experience — we’re looking for people who are dependable, hardworking and happy to be on their feet and get stuck in. The role: * Picking customer orders from printed order sheets * Packing orders accurately and neatly * Checking products and order numbers * Preparing orders for dispatch * Keeping the warehouse clean and organised * Supporting the wider team during busy periods The role involves plenty of walking and being on your feet throughout the day, with busy days reaching around 20,000 steps. Hours 8:30am – 5:00pm As Christmas approaches, there may be opportunities for earlier starts, later finishes, additional hours and Saturday shifts, so flexibility is a big advantage. What we’re looking for * Reliable and punctual * Comfortable working at a steady pace * Good attention to detail * Happy working on your feet * Able to work well as part of a team * Previous warehouse experience is useful but not essential Please be aware that the warehouse can get very cold during the winter, so you’ll need to be prepared with warm clothing and suitable footwear. The site is accessible by train from the Edenbridge area, although reliable transport is useful for earlier starts and additional shifts.
