Our client is currently recruiting 2 x experienced Sheet Metal Worker / Fabricators. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled fabricator who can work from engineering drawings and produce high-quality sheet metal components. The role involves working with a variety of fabrication machinery and tools to manufacture parts to specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricating sheet metal components from technical drawings
- Cutting, bending, forming and assembling sheet metal
- Operating fabrication machinery including press brakes, guillotines and rollers
- Carrying out basic welding where required (MIG/TIG advantageous)
- Inspecting finished work to ensure it meets quality standards
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Sheet Metal Worker / Fabricator
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience with fabrication equipment and hand tools
- Welding experience beneficial but not essential
- Good attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
