Mechanical Supervisor required

Our client is a leading mechanical engineering contractor and project delivery specialist based in Durham, providing services across the commercial and industrial sectors.

The Role

Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to oversee the delivery of large-scale commercial projects.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing mechanical installation works on multi-million-pound projects and will be comfortable working alongside Tier 1 Main Contractors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise mechanical installation works on site.
  • Manage subcontractors and site operatives.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, and to budget.
  • Maintain quality standards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with project managers, clients, and main contractors.
  • Monitor project progress and resolve site issues effectively.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Mechanical Supervisor within the building services sector.
  • Experience delivering large commercial projects valued at several million pounds.
  • Strong background working with Tier 1 Main Contractors.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical building services installations.
  • SSSTS/SMSTS desirable.
