Are you an experienced Mechanical Project Manager looking to take ownership of major Building Services projects across the North? Due to continued growth, our client is expanding its leadership team and looking for a driven professional to join the team in Cramlington.
This is a key role where you’ll lead mechanical packages from pre-construction through to handover, manage teams, build strong client relationships, and help shape the future of our regional delivery.

An opportunity to join a leading M&E contractor delivering high-quality mechanical and electrical solutions across commercial, industrial, and public-sector projects. They work collaboratively with clients, consultants, and main contractors to provide full lifecycle Building Services delivery — from design and installation to commissioning and ongoing support.
The Role
As Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and successful delivery of mechanical Building Services projects. You’ll lead teams, support clients, and ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead site and project teams, ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Manage project budgets, reporting, and programme delivery.
- Oversee variations and tender additional works where required.
- Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mentor and develop your team, driving performance and professional growth.
- Build strong client relationships to secure repeat business.
- Support commercial, design, and delivery coordination across contracts.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong experience within the commercial construction sector.
- Proven M&E project management background with solid mechanical expertise.
- HNC (or equivalent) in Building Services Engineering or related discipline (preferred).
- Strong commercial, design, financial, and delivery knowledge.
