Working Pattern: Monday to Friday | Late Shift | 11:30am to 8:00pm

This growing manufacturing business is looking to appoint a technically minded Machine Operator to support the launch and development of a newly created production area. The business is investing heavily in new machinery, new processes and long-term site capability. This is an opportunity to join at the start of an exciting phase of expansion, learn specialist equipment properly and build genuine ownership within the operation.

Reporting into the production leadership team, you will play a key role in setting up, running and monitoring advanced production equipment, supporting smooth shift performance and helping establish strong standards as the department develops. This is a hands-on technical operator role where you will be expected to understand the machinery, support basic troubleshooting and take pride in running processes properly.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Set up, run and monitor advanced production equipment
  • Support machinery changeovers, adjustments and basic troubleshooting
  • Carry out production and quality checks in line with site standards
  • Complete production documentation accurately
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, quality and health and safety
  • Support the smooth running of the late shift operation
  • Work closely with production and technical teams
  • Help establish strong processes and standards as the department grows
  • Take ownership of machinery performance and process consistency
  • Contribute positively to a growing and developing production area

Your Background

  • Previous machine operating or technical production experience
  • Confidence working around machinery or automated equipment
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Good attention to detail and the ability to follow process
  • A reliable approach with pride in your work
  • A calm and consistent approach under pressure
  • Experience within food, drink, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical or technical production environments would be beneficial
  • Some mechanical or engineering understanding would also be advantageous
