The Purchasing Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient supply of raw materials and packaging required for production. Working closely with suppliers and internal teams across Production, NPD, Sales and Technical, you will help coordinate purchasing activities, maintain strong supplier relationships and ensure materials are available when needed to support site operations.

What You’ll Be Doing- Manage the purchasing of raw materials and packaging required for site operations
- Liaise with suppliers regarding product availability, pricing and delivery schedules while building strong long term supplier relationships
- Issue purchase orders and monitor delivery schedules, following up on any late or incomplete deliveries
- Work with suppliers to resolve service issues and support ongoing supplier reviews
- Ensure all required supplier documentation is provided to the Technical team prior to approval, including accreditation, MSDS, allergen statements and COA documentation
- Maintain accurate stock adjustments and bookings within the DEAR system while reviewing packaging requirements and managing stock levels of key lines
- Work closely with Production, Sales and clients regarding new and ongoing orders and provide quotations where required
- Support new product development projects by working with NPD on formulations and costings
- Track purchasing activity against sales orders, maintain purchasing and pre-schedule spreadsheets and monitor KPIs and performance targets
- Support wider business initiatives focused on right first time performance, continuous improvement and reducing waste and downtime

- Confident using Excel and business systems with the ability to manage data and reporting
