This is an excellent opportunity to join a multi-site UK business in a new Quality & Compliance Lead appointment. You will have day-to-day responsibility for the management and implementation of compliance standards across multiple key business functions including Quality, Health & Safety, Environment, Information Security and BRCGS (Food Safety & Packaging Materials).

Responsibilities:
- This role holds end-to-end accountability for quality, compliance, governance and continuous improvement across the manufacturing operation.
- Owning and leading the business's Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring it is robust, current and aligned with customer expectations, regulatory requirements and overall business strategy.
- Developing, implementing and maintaining quality policies, procedures and standards to ensure products consistently meet specification, safety and performance requirements.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for external regulatory bodies, leading third-party audits including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Coordinating and governing all ISO compliance requirements, ensuring audit readiness, effective controls and zero major non-conformances.
- Working closely with suppliers to resolve quality issues, improve consistency and strengthen quality feedback loops across the supply chain.
- Partnering with operational leaders to embed high standards across production, balancing quality integrity with commercial delivery.
- Identifying gaps where new procedures are required and leading their development, implementation and training.
- Providing structured, meaningful quality and compliance reporting to senior leadership to support decision-making as the business scales.
Ideal candidate skills:
- Proven experience within manufacturing quality and compliance.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, with exposure to ISO 14001 and related standards.
- Experience owning, improving and governing a Quality Management System.
- Confidence leading audits, investigations and corrective actions.
